Experience

Faridah joined Galadari upon moving to the region from the United Kingdom. She is a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with over 16 years of experience specializing in high value, complex commercial litigation, often with an international, cross border focus.

Faridah offers strategic advice at all stages of the Dispute Resolution process from considering the strengths of a claim at the very beginning through to enforcement of judgments or dealing with settlement negotiations.  Her practice includes complex contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, insurance disputes as well as advisory work on litigation risks and avoidance.

Faridah’s strengths include identifying key issues early on and advising her clients on the most effective strategy in order to secure the best possible outcome. She works closely with our own local advocates in relation to litigation onshore in the UAE. She also regularly represents clients in DIFC related disputes and has full rights of audience before the DIFC Courts. Faridah plays an active role within the DIFC Courts and is a former member of the DIFC Court Users Committee.

She is rated in the Global Legal 500: as "excellent at spanning the divide between local law and the common law".
