Our team come from a variety of common and civil law backgrounds, providing advice onshore and in the Free Zones in line with international shipping practice. Our work covers most of the maritime activity including, purchase deals, finance, mortgage contracts, shipbuilding and repair, and vessel insurance. Our corporate and dispute resolution teams come together to advise on a wide range of aviation matters including, drafting commercial agreements and contracts, asset leasing and financing, cargo claims, passenger claims, sale and purchase deals and mergers & acquisitions.
We often work for large regional and international aircraft carriers, the automotive industry and advise the rail industry across the GCC region, providing advice on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
Cyber security is a potential risk for many businesses in the transport industry, particularly the maritime industry as it looks to grow though investing in autonomous shipping and blockchain due to regulatory controls and cost pressure. We advise our clients on identifying potential cybersecurity threats to control and communications systems. Our team also handle matters related to data theft.
