"Psychological Techniques to Deal with Children in the Legal Field” pro-bono workshop.

Galadari, as the oldest firm in the United Arab Emirates, takes its social responsibility to provide the community access to legal advice and justice through pro-bono activities seriously.  

Since March 2022, Galadari have had an exclusive partnership with The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (“DFWAC”). DWFAC is the first licensed non-profit shelter in the UAE offering immediate protection and support services for women and children in the UAE against violence, child abuse and human trafficking.

Through our pledge to provide 100 pro-bono hours annually to DFWAC, our attorneys provide legal advice and assistance for UAE court procedures, replica rolex watches assisting with day-to-day legal matters, and provide training workshops to the foundation’s in-house team.

On December 7, 2022, Senior Associate Mrs. Aeeda Al Ibrahim, and Associate Mr. Ahmed Kamel Attia participated in a training workshop focusing on “Psychological Techniques to Deal with Children in the Legal Field” to the foundation’s in-house team. Senior personnel from the Dubai Courts, Dubai Police, Public Prosecution, judges, and child psychology professionals also attended.

Mrs. Aeeda and Mr. Ahmed addressed the necessity to enhance the skills and knowledge of specialists in the legal field conducting investigations involving minors, from a psychological perspective. Case studies and the consideration of the best integration techniques based on a range of considerations such as a child’s religion, age and scholarship were used to promote best practice techniques in these cases.
